Mindfulness for Families: Sessions for adults and children (as young as 8 years old) that take into account each person’s special characteristics, can bring about a uniquely supportive environment for cultivating mindfulness in everyday life.
This is designed to help family members communicate better and deal with anxiety and difficult circumstances, such as school or work problems, medical or psychological illness, and grief.
To help young children, this may involve working separately with the adults, to develop their own mindfulness experience and their own ability to help young children with mindfulness at home. This can be particularly useful for children who face challenges with anxiety and emotional distress.
Home sessions for the whole family can be arranged.
